Join our team immediately at our location in the USA as a Process Mechanic.
Your tasks:
- Installation of Arburg injection molding machines and blister machines at our plant in Atlanta, USA after training at our plant in Geisingen
- Set up and operate handling equipment
- Cooperation with neighboring departments and the plant in Geisingen
- Train machine operators in safety procedures
- Maintenance and cleaning of molds and injection molding machines
- Sampling of new molds
- Responsibility for the completion of supervised orders in accordance with quantity, time and quality requirements
- Plan and execute setup procedures and process changeovers
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment
- Ensure orderliness and cleanliness
Monitoring and adjusting processes and parameters in close coordination with the plant in Geisingen
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a process mechanic specializing in plastics/rubber or comparable technical training or equivalent qualification acquired through several years of work experience
- Thorough and careful approach to work
- Willingness to work shifts if required (early and late shifts)
- Commitment, initiative, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
- Perform, document and evaluate sampling
- Several years of experience in operating injection molding machines and optimizing and creating injection molding parameters
- Good communication skills with employees and related departments
- Potentially knowledge of English
Willingness to spend several years abroad at our plant in Atlanta, USA and related experience
